I once heard Bishop TD Jakes say, "Your opposition is your opportunity," and I was excited about that. I was pumped to hear someone spin life's negativity into a positive light. It sounded so goooood. I even retweeted it and posted it to my stories. I wanted to share the light even though I wasn't completely sure how to walk in it.
Fast forward several years....Can I tell you how many times I let opposition keep me out of rooms I should've walked into like I owned them? Can I tell you how many times I let opposition make me feel like a outsider when I should've felt like a KING'S KID? My dad taught me that the difference between knowledge and wisdom was that knowledge knows but wisdom puts knowledge into action. If my opposition is truly my opportunity, then Lord, increase my faith! I know, but I need to be wise! I see my opposition(s), but how do I turn it into opportunity?
